About Global PPE Manufacturers

Building South Africa’s next PPE manufacturing platform

Global PPE Manufacturers is developing a compliance-led manufacturing hub designed to strengthen local supply, create jobs and reduce dependence on imported protective equipment.

Current stage: Feasibility and funding

Our vision

Local production with national impact

Our vision is to become a leading South African OEM for personal protective equipment, producing locally manufactured products that meet the standards required by industry and export markets.

By year four, the planned operation aims to support between 300 and 1,450 sustainable jobs across production, quality, logistics, sales and the wider supply chain.

Mission

Industrial resilience through local capability

We aim to reduce reliance on imported PPE through local manufacturing, skills development and opportunities for South African suppliers and distributors.

Standards commitment

Compliance before commercial release

Each product will follow the required testing and certification route before launch. No product will enter the market on an unverified protection claim.
